RMC Sport: Paris Saint-Germain to part ways with head coach Christophe Galtier
It became known about the decision of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to part ways with head coach Christophe Galtier. It is reported by RMC Sport.
According to the publication, Galtier should be relieved of his post by the middle of the week. However, it is noted that at the moment the parties cannot agree on the conditions for early termination of the contract. 53-year-old Spaniard Luis Enrique claims to be the head coach.
On June 30, information appeared that Galtier and his son John Valovich were detained in Nice on suspicion of discrimination. While working at Nice, the specialist sent an email to the former director of the club, Julien Fournier, in which he pointed out the inadmissibility of having a large number of blacks and Muslims in the team. Le Parisien reported that the specialist faces up to three years in prison if the charges are proven.
Galtier has been in charge of PSG since July 2022. Before that, he worked with Nice for a year.
