Promoter Hearn reveals that Fury is gearing up for an exhibition boxing match with Ngannou
British boxer Tyson Fury and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou are preparing for an exhibition fight. This became known to promoter Eddie Hearn, whose words are available on the Boxing Social YouTube channel.
“Yes, I believe it will happen. Here’s what I’ve heard: apparently it’s going to be an exhibition fight, no knockdowns or anything. I don’t know for sure, no one knows what’s what, but it will probably really be Tyson Fury’s next fight,” Hearn said. He added that it would be a big event, but he would like to see the Briton in a fight with the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He owns the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship belt.
Ngannou fought in the UFC from 2015 to 2023. In total, during his career he won 17 victories and suffered three defeats. Ngannou won the championship belt in a duel with American Stipe Miocic in March 2021. In January 2022, he defended his title for the first time, defeating the Frenchman Cyril Gan, after which he did not enter the octagon due to knee surgery.
