Coach Irina Viner admitted to participating in the personal life of pupils
The President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics (VFCG) and coach Irina Viner told how much attention she pays to the personal life of her pupils. It is reported by Starhit.
“Not only do I control the personal life of my pupils, I participate in it. I am the third. For my children, I am a mother. What about real parents? They are at home. Girls bring suitors to me, I look at them – I approve or disapprove, ”admitted Wiener.
On June 1, world champion in rhythmic gymnastics Yana Batyrshina spoke about financial difficulties during her sports career. She stated that after the collapse of the USSR, she moved from Tashkent to Novogorsk without parents, along with Viner. The gymnast admitted that it was difficult to live alone and therefore there were thoughts of ending her career, but the coach was able to persuade her family to move to Russia to continue her career.
On March 6, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) suspended Wiener for two years due to the scandal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, where the expert spoke insultingly about the refereeing of the competition. Viner will not be able to participate in or be accredited to international competitions and events under the auspices of the FIG, including work as a coach and head of delegation.
