SKA goalkeeper Sergei Ivanov’s car was stolen in St. Petersburg

Unknown people in St. Petersburg stole a Hyundai Tucson car from the goalkeeper of the SKA hockey club Sergei Ivanov. This is reported by Izvestia.

The athlete turned to law enforcement on Saturday, July 1. Ivanov estimated the cost of a black car at 2.6 million rubles. According to preliminary information, a criminal case has been initiated under clause “b” of part 4 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”).

19-year-old Ivanov entered the SKA system in 2020. In the Youth Hockey League, the player played for SKA-Varyags and SKA-1946. In the KHL, the goalkeeper made his debut last fall. Last season, he played five games in the regular season.

On June 22, Dmitry Slavnov, an auto lawyer, shared with the Russians tips on protecting a car from theft. In a conversation with Lenta.ru, he recommended installing both autonomous and mechanical anti-theft devices on the car at the same time.
