Al-Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, announced this Sunday that it agreed to hire coach Jorge Jesus, who returns to the club after four years.
The 68-year-old coach was with Fenerbahçe, from Turkey, until the end of this European season, when his contract ended. In this last season, Jorge Jesus added 36 wins, 10 draws and eight defeats and won the Turkish Cup and was runner-up in the Turkish Championship.
In his last spell at Al-Hilal, Jorge Jesus led the team in 25 games and accumulated 19 wins, four draws and only one defeat. The Portuguese left the technical command of the club in January 2019 and was without a job until June, when he took over Flamengo.
After that, Jesus took over Benfica in August 2020 and stayed there until the end of 2022. The agreement with Fenerbahçe only came in July of the same year, in an agreement valid for one season.
Jorge Jesus arrives to replace the Argentine Ramón Díaz, who left the technical command of Al-Hilal due to personal problems.
