Amaia Peña and Marta Unzué renew their contracts with Athletic

He Athletic Club has reached an agreement with the players of the women’s team Amaia Peña and Marta Unzué to extend their contracts, until 2025 and 2024respectively.
The Portuguese player has played nine games in the rojiblanca first goal, three of them in the last season.
Peña trained at Pauldarrak and was recruited by Athletic Club in 2014 to play in the lower categories. She returned to Lezama in 2020 and the following season she went on loan to Eibar, with whom she also played in the top flight.
For her part, Marta Unzué will fulfill her sixth season as rojiblanca, in which he has played a total of 120 games. The Berriozar player is in the recovery phase of her right knee injury which occurred on May 14.
The midfielder came to Lezama in the 2018-2019 season on loan from FC Barcelona. In the last campaign she became a centenarian.
