Osasuna ties with Elche in El Sadar

Osasuna tied with Elche (1-1) this monday in The Sadar the party corresponding to the 15th journey of LaLiga Santander. The rojillo team adds six days in a row without winning.

Osasuna started with momentum and in minute 2 he had the first time that Kike García did not finish well a center from Cote. Five minutes later, a Budimir shot crashed into the crossbar, and in the rebound Fidel committed a penalty on the Osasunista forward. Own Budimir scored 1-0 after beating goalkeeper Edgar Badía from the penalty spot.

After the goal of the rojillos came the reaction of Elche through a shot that Lucas Boyé made in the 11th minute, and that went out narrowly. Six minutes later, at 19, Fidel put the 1-1 on the scoreboard after finishing a corner and beating goalkeeper Sergio Herrera.

After the draw, the forces were equalized and both teams had a hard time creating scoring chances; the clearest before reaching the relegation was Elche, but Sergio Herrera avoided the goal of the Elche team saving a heads-up with Lucas Pérez after a defensive error by Unai García.

Equality was the predominant note in the second half, although Elche was able to get ahead on the scoreboard in minute 57 through a shot from Lucas Boyé that crashed into the post. Osasuna’s response came four minutes later, but Edgar Badía stopped Moncayola’s pitch.

Both teams did not enjoy clear scoring chances until the final stretch of the match. In the 78th minute, Sergio Herrera saved the rojillo team; the Osasuna goalkeeper got a good shot from Josan under sticks. Already in the extension, Osasuna could take the victory, but Enzo Roco crossed in the trajectory of the ball that Kike García finished off and prevented the ball from entering his goal. In the end, distribution of points (1-1).
