Lionel Messi reveals he’s thrilled to debut for Inter Miami
Argentine striker Lionel Messi spoke about his feelings before his debut for Inter Miami. His words are quoted by Goal with reference to Argentinian Public Television.
“Now I will have a few days of vacation, and then I will come to a new city, to my new club, I am very excited,” said the player.

On June 25, Mundo Deportivo reported that Inter Miami were planning a presentation for Messi, as well as Spanish midfielder Sergio Busquets, on July 16. It is noted that the team intends to extract the maximum profit from the representation of the players, therefore, it is engaged in increasing the capacity of the stadium.
The striker announced his transfer to the American team on June 7. The three-year agreement is expected to be formally signed on 1 July.
Messi has been playing for PSG since 2021. His contract with the Parisians ran until June 2023 with the option of a one-season extension.
