The eighth round of German Championship takes place this Friday with a match. O Bayern Munchen face Bayer Leverkusen, at 15:30 (Brasília time), at the Allianz Arena.
Both teams live a negative sequence in the Bundesliga. However, Bayern are in a less dramatic situation than their opponents.
The hosts haven’t won in four rounds. With that, the Bavarians start the round in fifth place, with 12 points, five less than the leaders Union Berlin.
Coach Julian Nagelsmann played down the opponent’s bad start to the season.
“Leverkusen are not doing very well in the league, but they have an excellent squad and a very good coach. They will play with courage with different lines of attack. They always want to play football, have a lot of rhythm. the results may suggest otherwise. I expect a great effort to achieve victory”, he said.
🎙 “I have reviewed all our games and done a lot of analysis. We discussed this with the team today as it is the first day everyone is back. I am confident that tomorrow we will have a good performance.”@J__Nagelsmann about the latest results. #FCBB04 pic.twitter.com/LhUBVqdIXy

Bayer Leverkusen are close to the relegation zone. With just five points, the visitors haven’t won for three rounds and can end the round by sticking in case of defeat.
Coach Gerardo Seoane highlighted the difficulty that his team will have away from home.
“In Munich, you always need a dedicated team and a lot of willingness to defend against this tremendous quality of Bayern. Despite that, we have to be brave and also try to implement our own game when we have possession of the ball”, he declared.
