2022 World Cup organizing committee bans fans from touching Qatari women and flirting
The organizing committee of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar has published the rules of conduct for fans in the country. The text of the document leads RMC Sport.
The organizers of the championship recommend not to hug or touch local women, not to flirt in public with a partner and not to turn on loud music during calls to prayer. It is considered inappropriate in Qatar to sit cross-legged, shake hands when meeting, and wear jewelry, with the exception of a watch or a wedding ring.
Foreign girls are asked to wear clothes that cover their legs, chest and neck. At the same time, they are not required to wear a traditional veil that opens only their eyes. For men, shorts above the knee and tight-fitting trousers are prohibited.
The World Cup will be held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022. The Russian team will not take part in the tournament by decision of the International Football Federation (FIFA).
