RFU asked RPL and FNL for lists of players and employees for armor against partial mobilization
The Russian Football Union (RFU) will prepare for the players of the Russian Premier League (RPL) and the Football National League (FNL) a reservation against partial mobilization. It is reported by “Sport-Express”.
According to the publication, the RFU requested lists of players and employees from the clubs playing in the leagues. The teams have already received a mailing with files where it is necessary to enter the data of the athletes.
Earlier, Russian Minister of Sports Oleg Matytsin spoke about armor for the country’s athletes. “There will be certain protective measures. Perhaps some kind of delay will be given,” Matytsin said, emphasizing that Russian athletes are maximally mobilized and ready to solve the tasks set by the state.
On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of partial mobilization in the country. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu specified that a total of 300,000 reservists are planned to be called up.
