Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin spoke about the armor for the country’s athletes. His words are quoted by Match TV.

“There will be certain protective measures. Perhaps there will be some delay. The system will continue to develop actively, despite the situation,” Matytsin said, emphasizing that Russian athletes are maximally mobilized and ready to solve the tasks set by the state.

Summons to the draft board have already received many Russian athletes. Among them are the bronze medalist of the 2008 European Football Championship Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, the European champion in figure skating Dmitry Aliyev and mixed martial artist (MMA) Vladimir Mineev.
