Eneritz Vadillo is proclaimed champion of Spain sub’23 of the online event and Idoia Eraso runner-up

Eneritz Vadillo (Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi) is the new Spanish champion of the sub’23 category online event after winning the 122.6-kilometre course with start and finish in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid). Another Basque cyclist, Idoia Eraso (Labor Kutxa-Euskadi Foundation), was the runner-up.
The cyclist from Gorliz (Bizkaia) ENeritz Vadillo prevailed with superiority in his category and set a time of 3 hours, 12 minutes and 56 seconds. ORn minute and 5 seconds later, Idoia Eraso crossed the finish line in second position. Thus, the one from Pamplona (Navarra) rounded off a great participation in the Spanish Championships, since on June 23 it was proclaimed national time trial champion and a day later the silver medal was hung in the online test. Susana Pérez (Cantabria Sport – Rio Miera) was third one minute and 56 seconds behind the champion and completed the podium.
On the other hand, Mavi García (Liv Racing TeqFind) won the Spanish elite category title for the fifth time in his career. The one from Mallorca set her pace from start to finish and the victory did not escape her. Sara Martín (Movistar) was second to 50 seconds and Mireia Benito (AG Insurance – Soudal Quick-Step) third to 51 seconds. The best Basque in the elite category was Usoa Ostolaza (Laboral Kutxa-Fundacion Euskadi) who finished in sixth position.
