With the end of the European season and the opening of the transfer window, Tottenham has already started searching the market to reinforce its squad for 2023/24. According to the British newspaper The Telegraphone of the targets of the English club is the Brazilian defender Bremer, who belongs to Juventus.
According to the vehicle, the defender has been a target for the Spurs for over a year, therefore, since he was still playing for Torino.
However, according to published by The Telegraph, other clubs in the English Championship are interested in the athlete and, with that, follow the movement of Juventus in this window. The expectation is for some approach only at the end of the window.
With a contract valid until June 2027, Bremer was acquired by Velha Senhora in July 2022. The total transfer amounts were around 49 million euros – 41 million fixed plus eight million variables.
In his first season defending the Turin team (ITA), the 26-year-old defender played 43 games – all of them as a starter -, scored five goals and provided an assist. He was also part of the squad selected by Tite to play in the World Cup in Qatar, where he entered the field twice.
Furthermore, the athlete was remembered by Ramon Menezes in the call-up for the March Fifa Date, when Brazil was defeated by Morocco in an international friendly.
Still without an official proposal by Bremer, finally, Tottenham is still active in the market. The Spurs have already announced the permanent purchase of winger Pedro Porro and striker Kulusevski.
