Jon Rahm missed the cut at the Travelers Championship on the day of Friday June 23, which means the first time he hasn’t made it to the weekend in a tournament in 21 months. At the head of this PGA Tour event, the American Keegan Bradley ‘hunted’ his compatriot Denny McCarthy and both are now co-leaders.
Considering that in The Players this year he retired due to illnessthe one from Barrika he had chained 36 tournaments in a row passing the cut. The last time he did not compete on Saturday and Sunday in a tournament was at the Fortinet Championship in September 2021.
World number 2 and winner of the Augusta Masters this year, Rahm signed on Friday at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell (Connecticut, USA) a +1 card (two birdies and three bogeys) which placed him with a -2 accumulated, insufficient to pass the cut set to -4.
