FIFA has released the dates for the next Club World Cup. The tournament will take place between February 3rd and 12th, in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. The title favorites are Chelsea e palm trees.
Both clubs are already in the semifinals. You Blues secured a spot in the competition in May, when they defeated Manchester City in the final of the Champions League. Verdão, on the other hand, qualified last Saturday, by beating Flamengo in the Libertadores decision.
Five other clubs are fighting for the title. Are they: Monterrey, from Mexico, champion of the Concacaf Champions League; Al-Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, champion of the Asian Champions League; Al-Ahly, from Egypt, champion of the African Champions League; Al-Jazira, champion of the Emirati Championship (representative of the host country) and Auckland City, from New Zealand (representative from Oceania).
The draw for the matches will be held this Monday, at 1 pm (GMT), and will be broadcast on the YouTube of FIFA.
