21-year-old hockey player of the Vityaz club near Moscow, Georgy Savin, fell out of the window of the 18th floor of an apartment building in Ryazan. It is reported by REN TV.
The athlete died at the crash site due to injuries incompatible with life. It is known that at the time of the tragedy, a girl was with him in an apartment in the Olympic village. First, local residents heard a scream, and then the man’s body fell from the window of the house.
A source familiar with the situation said that Savin had problems due to large debts. Law enforcement officers are considering several versions of what happened, including an accident.
In total, Savin played 169 games, scoring 30 goals.
