Who came out ahead in the first half were the visitors, with Marcus Edwards taking a penalty in the 35th minute. Colombian Luis Díaz tried to level the score again three minutes later.
Porto gave few opportunities to Vitória de Guimarães in the second stage and got the goal of the comeback in the 14th minute, with the Brazilian Evanilson.
Porto returns to the field for the Portuguese Championship this Friday, against Portimonense at the Estádio Municipal de Portimão. The match will be held at 4 pm (GMT). Vitória de Guimarães plays on Saturday against Ferreira. The clash is at the opponent’s home, the Estádio da Capital do Móvel, and is scheduled for 17:30.
