The head of the press service of the Moscow “Spartak” Dmitry Zelenov said that the team’s striker Alexander Sobolev had his suspension reduced for an indecent gesture in the match against CSKA. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Zelenov said that the appeal committee considered the team’s appeal and reduced Sobolev’s punishment from four matches to three. It is noted that the last match of the suspension is conditional.

The meeting between Spartak and CSKA took place on May 21 and ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the red-whites. In the 65th minute, Sobolev was sent off for an indecent gesture. The football player put two hands to his groin, expressing dissatisfaction with the actions of Roshi, who also received a red card.
