Russian MMA fighter Nemkov topped the Bellator rating regardless of weight category
Russian mixed martial arts fighter (MMA) Vadim Nemkov topped the Bellator rating regardless of weight category. This is reported in Twitter promotion.
Nemkov moved up in the rankings from second place. Brazil’s Patricio Freire dropped from the top spot. Yaroslav Amosov, a Ukrainian, remained in third place. Another Russian Usman Nurmagomedov dropped from sixth to seventh line.
On June 17, Nemkov defeated Cuban Yoel Romero at the Bellator 297 tournament. The fight took place in Chicago and lasted all five rounds. The fight ended with the victory of the Russian by unanimous decision of the judges. Thus, the 30-year-old Nemkov defended the Bellator light heavyweight title, which he has held since August 2020.
In total, Nemkov has 17 wins with two defeats in mixed martial arts. Another fight with his participation was declared invalid.
