Ramon says he will report to the new coach of the national team, but preaches focus on the next game

In the midst of the non-confirmation of Carlo Ancelotti as the new coach, even if his hiring is taken for granted, the Brazilian Team continues to use the under-20 coach, Ramon Menezes, as an interim in charge. The Brazilian’s period ahead of Brazil may end next Tuesday, against Senegal, and, therefore, he has already stated that he will make reports of the games in which he commanded the team for the future responsible for the function.

“This question is inevitable, but I’m very focused on playing these games against Guinea and Senegal. I can’t talk about the “if”, I’m very focused, I want to help the Brazilian team a lot in this next game. The president will know what to do, knows what to do. So now I’m going to play this game, I want 100% concentration on my work here”, he declared.

Finally, the interim also commented on the low number of matches played by the Brazilian team on national soil. It is worth remembering that the yellowish delegation is in Portugal for the duel against the Senegalese. Before, he faced Guinea in Spain. The team’s last match in Brazil was in March 2022, when they thrashed Chile 4-0, in the Qualifiers of the World Cup in Qatar.
