Mai Garde, new sports director of Osasuna

The former player and former captain of Osasuna Mai Garde will assume the position of sports director of the women’s team of the Navarrese club, as announced by the rojilla entity this Monday afternoon. Garde will exercise the Osasuna Sports Directorate after having been responsible for coordinating grassroots football, since her withdrawal a little over a year ago.
The 34-year-old from Pamplona will be in charge of designing the squad for the next season, with the aim of achieving the long-awaited promotion to the F League.
As a player, and after going through several clubs, Mai Garde returned to Osasuna in the 2017-18 season, to captain the entity’s new women’s football project, with which she achieved promotion to the Second Division and touched promotion to the top flight on several occasions.
