Milan loses for the second time in a row, first it was against Fiorentina now against Sassuolo

Udinese and Genoa drew goalless, while Bologna won 1-0 at La Spezia.

Unbeaten until a week ago, Milan (2nd) lost for the second time in a row, 3-1 in their stadium against Sassuolo (12th), this Sunday in the 14th round of Serie A.

Players led by Stefano Pioli, who lost for the first time to the Fiorentina (4-3) last Saturday in San Siro, they fell home again.

They are even with the leader Naples (both with 32 points), which could open a gap this Sunday in their stadium against the Lazio (6º).

Milan had taken the lead with a header after a corner from Alessio Romagnoli (21).

Sassuolo’s response did not take long (24), with a shot with the inside of Gianluca Scamacca who entered the squad of the goal defended by Mike Maignan.

The Italian striker was at the origin of his team’s second goal, with a shot that Maignan rejected and the Danish defender converted into his own goal Simon kjaer (33).

Four days after the 1-0 win in extremis against Atlético that keeps them alive in the Champions League, Milan received a new goal, achieved by Domenico Berardi, spectacular with a dribble and a shot below the legs of Maignan (66).

Ten minutes later the nightmare lived its final chapter with the expulsion of Romagnoli, after a hard foul.

In the other games played, Udinese (14th) and Genoa (18th) equalized without goals, while Bologna (9th) won 1-0 at La Spezia (17th).
