Corriere dello Sport: Fiorentina wants to sell Kokorin or terminate his contract
The Italian “Fiorentina” refused to count on the Russian striker Alexander Kokorin. The future of the footballer became known to Fiorentina News with reference to Corriere dello Sport.
According to the source, the team’s management is considering two options. In the first case, the Italians want to negotiate with the Cypriot “Aris”, where Kokorin played on loan, on the transfer, in the second – to terminate the contract.
On June 14, Fiorentina announced its readiness to sell Kokorin after a loan at Aris. The 32-year-old striker has one year left on his contract with the Violets.
Kokorin has been playing for Aris on loan since August 2022. The player’s agent said the striker would return to Fiorentina for training. It was also noted that “Aris” has difficulties with the redemption of the athlete because of his high salary.
