Tim Tszyu knocked out Mexican Carlos Ocampo in the second minute of the fight
Australian boxer Tim Tszyu defeated Mexican boxer Carlos Ocampo. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
The meeting took place at a tournament in Broadbeach (Australia). Tszyu, who is the interim world champion according to the World Boxing Organization (WBO), knocked out his opponent in the second minute of the fight. Thus, he made his first title defense.
Tim Tszyu is the eldest son of the former absolute world champion Kostya Tszyu. He is number one in the WBO junior middleweight rankings. On account of the athlete 23 victories in a row, 15 of which were won by knockout. In his professional career, he did not suffer a single defeat.
Ocampo has 35 wins and three losses. In June 2018, he already fought for the world title according to the International Boxing Federation (IBF), but lost ahead of schedule to the American Errol Spence.
