With goal by Inter striker, Ecuador beats Bolivia in friendly

Ecuador and Bolivia held a friendly this Saturday at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey. The Ecuadorians got the better of the duel by 1 to 0, with a goal by striker Enner Valencia, from International.

On the Bolivian side, the highlight was Miguelito, who was the starter on the pitch. The young midfielder Santos will be the club’s embezzlement in two duels of the Brazilian Championship: against Coritiba e Corinthians.

It was Ecuador’s third engagement after the World Cup in Qatar. The team, led by Spanish coach Felix Sanchez Bas, has met Australia twice post-tournament. At first he lost, but then he won the opponent.

The Bolivians, in turn, did not get a place in the last World Cup and started preparing for the 2026 Cup earlier. The team hired Argentine coach Gustavo Costas, who did not start the job with the best result.

Bolivia faced Peru and suffered a setback by 1 to 0. Afterwards, it was superior and got the better of Saudi Arabia, by 2 to 1.

Ecuador has another friendly this month, next Tuesday, against Costa Rica, at 21:00 (Brasília time). Bolivia will face Chile on the same day and time.
