Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin also condemned the conditions of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). “If everything is so, then this is a policy of destruction of the national sports system,” he concluded.
Earlier, the All Sport agency announced the decision of the IOC to allow Russian athletes to participate in the Games in Paris as a refugee team. It was noted that in order to do this, athletes would have to fulfill several conditions, including stopping participation in all national competitions and stopping accepting any support from Russian sports organizations.
