Kylian Mbappé says he doesn’t care about criticism over letter to PSG management
French striker Kylian Mbappe explained the statement about the unwillingness to renew the contract with Paris Saint-Germain. His words are quoted by RMC Sport.
“It was sent not during the training camp of the national team, but before them. I did not think that this letter would kill anyone or that I would offend anyone. Unable to control reaction [других людей]”, – said the player. He added that criticism on this issue does not matter to him.
On June 12, it became known to L’Equipe that Mbappe had told PSG management that he was refusing to renew his contract until 2025. It was noted that the Parisians will try to sell the player in the summer of 2023 so that he does not leave as a free agent.
Mbappé has been playing for the Parisians since 2018. The striker’s current agreement with the team runs until 2024 with the option of a one-season extension. In the spring of 2022, he could become a Real Madrid player, but he remained at PSG.
