Japan crushes El Salvador in friendly

Japan showered their fans with goals in the international friendly this Thursday in the city of Toyota. Superior since the opening moments of the match and with a numerical advantage on the field, the Japanese beat El Salvador by 6-0.

In four minutes, the Japanese advantage on the scoreboard was already two goals, after Taniguchi and Ueda, from the penalty spot, rocked the net. El Salvador, meanwhile, was already suffering from a player’s dismissal – Rodriguez was red early on. Before the break, Japan doubled the score with Kubo and Doan.

In the final stage, the Asians slowed down a little, but managed two more goals. Nakamura scored in the 16th minute, and Furuhashi closed the scoring in the 33rd minute.

The result erases Japan’s last friendly defeat against Colombia. Now, taking advantage of this Fifa Date, the Asian team faces another South American on Tuesday: Peru.
