Croatia beat the Netherlands 4-2 to advance to the Nations League final
The Croatian national team reached the final of the League of Nations of the season 2022/2023. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
In the semi-finals, the team defeated the Netherlands. The meeting took place at the stadium in Feyenoord and ended with the score 4:2 in favor of the guests after extra time. In the 34th minute, Dutch striker Donyell Malen opened the scoring. In the 55th minute, the score was equalized by forward Andrej Kramaric, who converted a penalty.
Croatia took the lead in the 72nd minute thanks to a goal from midfielder Mario Pasalic. On the sixth minute added to the second half, midfielder Noah Lang equalized. In the 98th minute striker Bruno Petkovic put the Croats ahead again. In the 116th minute, midfielder Luka Modric converted a penalty and set the final score.
The second finalist will be determined in the match between the national teams of Spain and Italy. The meeting will take place on June 15 and will begin at 21:45 Moscow time.
The final of the League of Nations will be held on June 18 in Rotterdam. The current draw of the tournament is the third in history. The current winner is the French team.
