Juventus management accused of money laundering

The management of the football club “Juventus” came under investigation for false reporting – they are accused of money laundering. This is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

According to the source, the club’s president Andrea Agnelli, as well as vice-president Pavel Nedved and former sports director Fabio Paratici, could have falsified the club’s financial data for a large amount of 50 million euros. It is noted that law enforcement agencies conducted a search at the headquarters of Juventus and will study the documents received.

After 13 matches, Juventus is in eighth place in the Serie A standings with 21 points. In the Champions League, the club is in second place with 12 points, behind London’s Chelsea on additional indicators.

Agnelli is a member of the board of directors of Exor and FIAT. He took over as head of Juventus in May 2010.
