After the departure of names like Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio and Mariano Díaz, the Real Madrid is looking for reinforcements for the offensive sector. According to the The Gazzetta dello Sportthe merengue club is considering signing Sadio Mané as a replacement.
Coming from an irregular season with Bayern Munchen, the Senegalese had difficulties adapting to the team and got involved in a fight with teammate Leroy Sané. Despite having a contract until 2025 with the Germans, Real is considering paying up to 30 million euros (about R$ 157 million) to have Mané.
Currently, the Spaniards only have the Brazilians Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo for the attack. The 31-year-old could play both as a replacement for wingers and more centrally, as he has already played for Liverpool. Nor would he stop Real’s investment in other names such as Harry Kane and Kai Havertz.
This season, Mané appeared in 38 opportunities for Bayern’s shirt and rocked the net 12 times, in addition to contributing six assists. The striker ended up suffering a mid-season injury that prevented him from representing Senegal at the World Cup in Qatar.
