Bernardo Silva may be leaving Manchester City. According to British radio talkSPORTthe player would have already told friends and family that he wants a new challenge and his last match with the English club will be the Champions League final, next Saturday, against Inter Milan.
The Portuguese arrived at the Premier League team in 2017. Manchester City paid, at the time, 50 million euros (R$ 263 million, at current prices) to take him out of Monaco.
Still according to the radio, the midfielder feels that his cycle with City is coming to an end, and he can close it with a golden key by also winning the Champions League.
Last year, the Barcelona would have even put the signing of Bernardo Silva as a priority for the reformulation that Laporta was doing in the team. However, he failed to reach Manchester City’s asking price, which was €80 million (R$420 million).
Barcelona remain interested in having Bernardo for next season, but will have competition from the Paris Saint Germainwho would have already made a proposal of 70 million euros (R$ 368 million) for the Portuguese, rejected by City.
