Team Usyk delivered an ultimatum to Fury

Oleksandr Usyk’s promoter said he delivered an ultimatum to Fury’s team in the title fight

Oleksandr Krasyuk, promoter of the Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, spoke about negotiations for a title fight with British Tyson Fury. His words are given on the iFL TV YouTube channel.

Krasyuk stated that he had delivered an ultimatum, and Fury’s team would soon receive an official offer. “And it will be Tyson’s decision to accept it or reject it. We did our best to make the fight happen. Now the ball is on the side of Fury, ”he said.

The promoter emphasized that by accepting the offer, Fury would get the biggest fight of his career. “If you hesitate, try to bargain, it shows that you are not serious. You should give up your championship belt and retire. Perhaps forever,” he added.

Fury and Usyk were supposed to fight on April 29, but on March 22, the manager of the Ukrainian Egis Klimas announced the failure of the fight. Athletes could not agree on the distribution of fees. Negotiations about the duel have been going on since the fall of 2022.

Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He owns the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship belt.

Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
