Brand Finance named Manchester City the most valuable football brand in the world

The consulting company Brand Finance has named the rating of the most expensive football brands in the world. The list is available on the organization’s website.

The leader was the English “Manchester City”, whose brand value increased by 13 percent over the year – to 1.51 billion euros. In second place is Real Madrid, who have missed the top spot for the first time in four years. Its brand value is 1.46 billion euros.

Next in the ranking are Barcelona (1.37 billion), Manchester United and Liverpool (1.36 billion each), PSG (1.13 billion), Bayern Munich (1.1 billion), and also London’s Arsenal (0.91 billion), Tottenham (0.9 billion) and Chelsea (0.86 billion).

Manchester City won the English Premier League in May. The club won the national championship for the third time in a row and the ninth time in history. On June 10, City will play Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

On May 31, Forbes named the most expensive football clubs in the world. The leader of the rating was Real Madrid, whose value is estimated at 6.07 billion dollars. Manchester United is second with $6 billion. The third place was taken by Barcelona – 5.51 billion.
