English striker Tammy Abraham, from Roma, suffered a serious injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the 2-1 victory over Spezia, last Sunday, for the 38th and final round of the Italian Championship. The information was confirmed by the club this Monday to AFP.
Abraham will be sidelined for an undetermined period, added Roma, who did not give details of the surgery the player will undergo.
