Coach Tatyana Tarasova denied information about emergency hospitalization
Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova commented on the information about the emergency hospitalization. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
The 76-year-old specialist denied such news, explaining that she went to the hospital for medicines. “Interested morons wrote that I was in the hospital. Everything is fine with me, now I’m driving a car at the moment, ”she said.
On June 5, the Telegram channel Mash reported that Tarasova urgently needed the help of doctors. It was noted that the coach called an ambulance with complaints of high blood pressure and nausea, but refused hospitalization.
Tarasova was awarded the title of Honored Coach of the USSR in 1975. She was inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2008. Among her students were Olympic champions Irina Rodnina and Alexei Yagudin.
