Fedor Emelianenko proposed at the level of contracts to ban fighters from insulting opponents
Former mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Fedor Emelianenko proposed introducing a ban on insulting rivals in the contracts of athletes. His words are quoted by TASS.
“We need to discuss with the athletes, to make some things in the contract. What to say, what not to say. Which topics can be touched upon, which ones cannot, ”he added.
On June 2, Emelianenko called for a ban on the pop MMA industry at the legislative level. “Somehow our people have now begun to react to unnatural things, to all baseness. It seems to me that there should be an order from above for everything to stop, ”said the ex-fighter.
At the same time, the athlete admitted that fights in pop MMA gather a huge audience. Emelianenko explained the desire to ban such fights by caring for the younger generation.
