O Real Madrid reached an agreement with Belgian striker Eden Hazard this Saturday (3) for the player’s departure from the club at the end of the season, a year before the end of his contract.
“Real Madrid and Eden Hazard have reached an agreement for the player to leave the club on June 30, 2023,” Real said in a statement.
Hazard, who was hired by Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2019 for 115 million euros (R$ 505 million, at the time), leaves without meeting expectations.
Without achieving a sequence due to injuries, the Belgian played just 76 games in four seasons, in which he scored seven goals and had 12 assists.

He leaves the club with eight titles won, including last year’s Champions League.
“Real Madrid wants to express its affection for Eden Hazard and wishes him and his whole family luck in this new stage,” the club concludes in a statement.
