Opening the last round of Italian Championship, Fiorentina beat Sassuolo away from home by 3-1, at the Città del Tricolore stadium. The Brazilian Arthur Cabral opened the scoring of the match and Saponara, Nico González and Berardi completed the result.
With the result, Fiorentina ends the A league with 56 points, in eighth place on the table. If Juventus lose more points as a punishment by the Court of the Italian Federation, the team from Florence can enter the qualifying zone for European competitions.
The away victory gives confidence to Fiorentina, who face West Ham, from England, this Wednesday, in the Conference League final. The decision will be held at the Eden Arena, in Prague, in the Czech Republic, starting at 4 pm (Brasília time).
