Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic should not follow in the Milan after three seasons with the Italian team. The 41-year-old striker has a contract with the club until June of this year and the expectation is that he will not have his contract renewed.
However, Ibrahimovic remains injured and should not play in the club’s last match of the season, which takes place this Sunday, against Hellas Verona, at San Siro. Even so, the expectation is that there will be a tribute from the fans to the player, who had already played for Milan from 2010 to 2012.

Even at his advanced age, Zlatan Ibrahimovic rules out retiring at this point and confirms that he feels well enough to continue his career.
“I won’t give up. But there has to be joy in what you do. However, I haven’t reached that point yet. I think I still have a lot to give. Why would I think about giving up? No. Should I keep playing? I think so. But I have to find a balance, because if you don’t have serenity and stability in life, you become a bomb and bombs explode”, said the athlete in an interview with the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Swede also highlighted the importance of staying healthy and feeling good. Ibra played only four matches in the Serie A this season due to injuries.
“I’m fine. I’ve been working a lot, not just this year, last year too. When I was injured, the team was short. And when you do something your whole life, you know what you have to do and when you can’t, you don’t stay good with himself. I pushed a lot in the last few years, but my head is very strong. I feel like Superman every time I play”, he commented.
