Diario Sport: Inter Miami offer Messi $200 million contract
American Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami have made a new offer to Argentine striker Paris Saint-Germain Lionel Messi. It is reported by Diario Sport.
According to the publication, the team offered the striker a four-year deal worth a total of $200 million. Earlier, Diario Sport said that MLS clubs are ready to jointly pay Messi a salary regardless of who he plays for. It was noted that this decision was made because Inter Miami cannot invite the Argentine due to financial restrictions in the league.
On October 31, 2022, information appeared that the co-owners of Inter Miami were in talks with Jorge Messi, the player’s father and agent. It was noted that for the Argentine this option to continue a career is preferable.
