The midfielder of Roma, Lorenzo Pellegrini, addressed the future of coach José Mourinho at the club and revealed that the athletes already know the fate of the Portuguese. However, the Italian player preferred to lose the journalists.
“As Mourinho has said before, we’ve spoken honestly (in a captains’ meeting) and it’s right that these things stay between us. When appropriate, he will talk about his future,” said the player.
Pellegrini also commented that the conversation with Mourinho was important for the squad’s motivation.
“How do we feel after this conversation? Motivated for tomorrow’s game”, said the athlete, referring to the final of the Europa League against Sevillathis Wednesday, at 4 pm (Brasília time).
