Sergio Rico remains “stable and sedated” after accident in Spain

Sergio Rico, Spanish goalkeeper PSG, continues without major changes in his state of health this Tuesday. The player suffered an accident while participating in a popular festival in the city of Huelva and remains hospitalized at the Hospital Virgen del Rocío, in Seville.

For now, Sergio Rico is “stable and sedated”. However, the athlete’s condition is still considered serious by doctors and needs great attention.

At the Spanish party, Sergio Rico suffered blows to the head from a horse. PSG released a statement making it clear that it is attentive to the case.

“Paris Saint-Germain learned of the accident of their player Sergio Rigo this Sunday and remain in contact with his family,” wrote the French club on Twitter.

Ex-Sevilla, Rico has been at PSG since 2019. He played for the French club in 29 opportunities, was loaned to Mallorca last season, but returned to the team that features Neymar and Marquinhos.
