PSG’s French title

With a goal from Lionel Messi and an assist from Mbappé, PSG took the lead against Strasbourg, but ended up taking the tie in the final stretch of the match. However, the result was what was needed to secure the team’s title in the French Championship – the 11th in the club’s history, the country’s biggest national champion.

With the result, the Paris team reached 85 points and is now four ahead of vice-leader Lens, who has 81. As there is only one round left, that is, three points up for grabs, Neymar and company secured one more cup in France.

Still without being able to count on the Brazilian star, PSG ends the 2022/23 season next Saturday, when they receive Clermont, at 4 pm (Brasília time), in Parque dos Príncipes. The game will mark the celebration of the club’s conquest.
