Captain of the National Hockey League (NHL) Washington Capitals club Alexander Ovechkin visited the Dynamo football training base. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the blue and white.
“Ovi arrived at the training base with the usual attributes, but we forgot to flood the ice rink,” is the caption for a video in which Ovechkin mints the puck with a stick. The 37-year-old hockey player described what was happening with the phrase “you won’t drink away skill.”
On June 25, 2022, Ovechkin made his debut for Dynamo football in a friendly match against Amkal (5: 0). He entered the field in the starting lineup with the captain’s armband and opened the scoring in the 11th minute of the game. After that, the hockey player was replaced.
Ovechkin is a graduate of the Moscow Dynamo hockey club. In 2005, he moved to Washington, where he won the Stanley Cup.
