The transfer window didn’t even open, but the Real Madrid has already moved and should announce the signing of Jude Bellingham, a 19-year-old midfielder, next week. According to the Spanish newspaper Branddirectors of the Merengue club traveled to Germany to conclude the agreement with the Borussia Dortmundteam for which the English jewel shone this season.
Talks between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are nothing new. The Spanish club showed interest in the game in the second half of last year, entering the competition with several other teams, such as Liverpool, Chelsea e Manchester United.
The transfer should revolve around 100 million euros, R$ 540 million, an amount that may vary according to some clauses related to Bellingham’s performance and presence in Real Madrid games.
Despite his young age, Bellingham has been prominent at Borussia Dortmund. The youngster was an absolute starter for the club this season. With 42 games accumulated so far, the midfielder was left out of just four games and directly participated in 21 goals for the team. In November, he also competed in the world Cup of Qatar, with England, and went out playing in all five matches of the selection.
Even with his sale underway, the midfielder has not finished his work for Borussia Dortmund. The club is managing to overcome the Munich Bayer this season and can conquer the German Championship after 10 seasons of seeing their rivals lift the cup. Bellingham, however, could be out of the decisive duel against Mainz, this Saturday, due to knee pain.
