In addition to goalkeeper Ederson, Manchester Cityin the final and 2023 Champions League will have another Brazilian representative. This Wednesday, it was announced that the singer Anitta will perform the opening show of the decision, together with the Nigerian artist Burna Boy.
The Champions League final will be played on June 10, starting at 4 pm (Brasília time), at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, in Turkey. England’s Manchester City and Inter Milanfrom Italy, will duel for the cup of the biggest European competition.
The opening show will take place 15 minutes before kick-off, therefore, at 3:45 pm (Brasília time). Anitta is one of the most popular singers in Brazil and has already received several international awards and nominations, such as the Grammy, in February this year.

“Obviously there will be a moment of funk, and this time my fans will be amazed with the surprise, they are not waiting. There will also be that moment of hits, like ‘Envolver’. Anitta will be the first Brazilian artist to perform at an opening show for the Champions League final. Over the past five years, the following artists have headlined the ceremony: Camila Cabello (2022), Selena Gomez and Khalid (2021), Imagine Dragons (2019), Dua Lipa (2018).
