Russian striker “Arisa” Alexander Kokorin on Instagram (social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as an extremist organization and banned in Russia) responded to a fan who ridiculed the team’s victory in the Cypriot championship.
“Sanek, you understand very well that Aris in Cyprus is a mongrel dog. When there is Omonia and APOEL, you are nobody,” the user wrote. “No one is you, and we are the champions,” the football player replied.
Aris became the champion of Cyprus at the end of the 2022/2023 season, and Kokorin was named the best player of the tournament. Last season, the Russian played 28 matches in all competitions for Aris, scored 13 goals and gave six assists.
Kokorin has been playing for Aris on loan since August 2022. The player’s agent said that the attacker will return to the location of Fiorentina, which owns the rights to the player, to the training camp.
