Christensen (own), Larin (penalty) and Plata scored for the home team, while Lewandowski cashed out. The match was marked by demonstrations against racism and support for Vinícius Júnior, mainly by Raphinha, who sent a message to his compatriot when he was substituted.
Thus, the Catalans suffer the second consecutive defeat – they have not won since the confirmation of the national title. That way, it remains with 85 points.
Valladolid, on the other hand, recovers in the competition, wins again after five games and reaches 38 goals, leaving the relegation zone – it rises from 18th to 17th place. However, Getafe, overtaken by Ronaldo Fenômeno’s team, still plays in the round.
